Why We Built This Site
Indiana generally permits access to court records subject to court-rule exceptions, yet locating the right custodian can be difficult. Amy Thompson, Jennings County Clerk, keeps records for Jennings Circuit and Superior Courts. Those courts set hearings and enter rulings, while MyCase offers a statewide public view of non-confidential Odyssey data. The distinction matters because an online CCS may not contain every filed document and is not a certified copy. The site brings together official contacts, search methods, case-number guidance, and request routes for those Jennings County sources.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Jennings County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to an Indiana court, the Jennings County Clerk, or any government body. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
An official or certified docket or case document must come from the Jennings County Clerk or the court that holds the record. This site can identify that source but cannot issue the document.
Search Partners
Third-party companies operate search boxes found on some content pages. Each provider controls its service, results, privacy terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment that supports the site's operation. Jennings County Court Docket does not set partner fees or decide which records a partner returns.
